⚡ No Electricity? Here’s How to Open Your Barrier Manually

Power outage? Don’t worry — your barrier can still be opened safely even without electricity. All Ranger barriers come with a manual release feature, allowing you to lift the arm by hand when needed.

 🔄 Manual Operation Made Simple

If your barrier has a handwheel, simply insert it and twist gently to raise or lower the arm. Turn it slowly and steadily — no force is needed. Once power is restored, twist it back to lock the mechanism and resume normal operation.

If your barrier does not have a handwheel, don’t worry — you can still operate it manually using an Allen key.

  1. Locate the release point on the motor housing.

  2. Insert the Allen key and turn it as shown on the marking.

  3. Once released, you can move the arm by hand.

Both methods allow you to open or close the barrier safely until power returns.

🛡️ Stay Safe During Manual Release

  • Ensure no vehicles are passing before operating.

  • Turn or lift slowly — avoid forcing the arm.

  • Only authorised or trained personnel should handle the manual release.

💡 Pro Tip

Keep your handwheel or Allen key in a clearly labelled spot near the barrier, so it’s easy to find during emergencies.

💬 Final Word

A power failure doesn’t have to stop your operation. With Ranger’s manual release design, you can always keep your barrier moving — safely, smoothly, and without electricity.
