Its clear interface allows users to operate essential door functions, including opening, locking, and unlocking, while providing visible occupied/vacant status. The unit operates with an AC/DC 12–36V working voltage, making it suitable for a variety of automatic door systems. It has a 110mA standby current and 135mA action current when powered at 12V. The RG-AT-M240 also supports an external speaker rated at 4–8Ω and 1–5W, allowing audio guidance or status information to be integrated into the system. The front panel features simple, easy-to-understand symbols and controls, making it suitable for accessibility-focused environments.
